Leadership

Chris Lawlor – President

Chris Lawlor

Chris is a WCAS junior majoring in Physics and Economics, a combination which, if nothing else, reveals the evolution of his career goals. Outside of NSH, Chris serves as the president and founder of the Chicago chapter of the Non‐Profit Guitars Not Guns, a group whose mission is to keep at‐risk youth away from the slippery slope of crime and violence. He recently joined the NU Ski Team and has been appointed to the role of treasurer. Other passions include fine dining, cooking, soccer, magic, and travel. Chris has not yet been able to solidify his career ambitions, and thus hopes to enter a field such as consulting until he figures out what to do with his life; as long as he is able to provide a satisfying lifestyle for his family and retire to a ski chalet.

Hyan Park – Executive President

Hyan Park

Hyan Park is a junior in WCAS majoring in Economics and Mathematics and minoring in Political
Science. Due to her interest in business, she joined NSH as an analyst in Winter 2009. Hyan is also interested in social entrepreneurship, which led her to start Social Entrepreneurship Network for Undergrads at Northwestern with a couple of friends. She also tutors children from underprivileged neighborhoods of Chicago through Asian Youth Services. After interning at Deloitte Consulting in Seoul, Korea, Hyan spent time in Washington, DC learning about the field of economic consulting this summer at Bates White. Outside of classes and clubs, Hyan enjoys playing ice hockey and is currently a member of the club team at Northwestern.

Rose Plomin – Vice President of Finance

Rose Plomin

Rose Plomin is currently a sophomore at Northwestern University. She is pursing a double major in Mathematical Methods in Social Sciences and Economics and a possible minor in Spanish. She is also a member of the corporate relations team for the nonprofit Supplies for Dreams and a former member of the Northwestern Cross Country Team. She has a Cairn Terrier named Wrigley and a family history of cheering for Cubs despite their bad luck. This summer, she hopes to study abroad in Spain with the goal of becoming fluent in Spanish.

Anthony Del Gigante – Marketing Director

Anthony Del Gigante

Anthony Del Gigante is a sophomore Radio/Television/Film major at Northwestern University. He was born in Brooklyn but grew up in sunny South Florida. The son of a polar-opposite team–CCO meets CFO–he likes to think of himself as a creative director, graphic designer, photographer, and media strategist with a specialization in the youth market. Catch him wearing loud kicks, stomping on the sidewalk of a major city, probably listening to Earth, Wind & Fire. He has freelanced for clients such as Global Brigades, Sternick Career Advisors, National Debate Forum, Florida Forensic Institute, and the A Spring of Hope foundation, developed ad campaigns for a number of student groups at Northwestern, and interned at MDG Advertising in Boca Raton, Florida and The Museum of Modern Art in NYC.
